Terms of Sale for Purchase of Crystallin® Downlights by Light Polymers Inc.

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to your purchase of Crystallin® Downlights by Light Polymers Inc. (“Light Polymers”) products (each a “Product” and collectively, “Products”) sold in the United States under Crystallin®, a brand of Light Polymers, on the Crystallin® website. You agree to these terms by placing your order. If you have already placed your order and no longer want to be bound to these Terms, then you must return the purchased Products in accordance with the Crystallin® Returns Policy.  Your order is subject to cancellation by Light Polymers in its sole discretion.

As part of your purchase of Products, you may be asked to provide, among other things, your name, a valid credit card number, the expiration date and security code of your credit card, your billing address, and shipping information. You represent and warrant to Light Polymers that all such information is true and correct. Your submission of such information constitutes your permission for Light Polymers to provide any or all of such information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the fulfillment of your order.

The amount of any present or future sales, use, revenue or other tax applicable to Products sold shall be added to the purchase price, unless you provide Light Polymers with a valid tax exemption certificate applicable to your purchase of Products.

Title to and risk of loss of Products purchased is transferred to you at the point of shipment.

Purchased Products may not be resold or exported. Your purchase is for your own personal use only.

Crystallin® Gold, Crystallin® Red, Crystallin® Blue, Crystallin® Grow, and Crystallin® Orange are warranted to last 5 years. Crystallin® Salon and Crystallin® Silver are warranted to last 3 years. If a Product does not last for the appropriate amount of time as specified per product, return Product, proof of purchase and your name and address to Light Polymers, Product Service Dept., 347 Littlefield Avenue, South San Francisco, CA 94080, and Light Polymers will replace your Product. Product replacement is Light Polymer’s sole warranty obligation (ALL OTHER WARRANTIES – WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY – BEING DISCLAIMED), and incidental and consequential damages are excluded. Some states do not allow for the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this limited warranty does not warrant against Product failure as a result, directly or indirectly, of accidents involving or misuse of the Product (including failure to follow Product documentation or plugging the Product into the wrong type of electrical socket), disassembly of the Product, alterations of the Product, external causes such as extreme thermal or environmental conditions (including but not limited to moisture and heavy dust), installation or enablement of unauthorized software to control the Product, or unauthorized resale, export or commercial use. This limited warranty does not guarantee that use of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. In the event of any conflict between the above limited warranty and any warranty printed on Product packaging, the above limited warranty shall control. The return of Products to Light Polymers other than by reason of the above limited warranty must be in accordance with the Crystallin®  Returns Policy.

Light Polymers shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform its obligations in connection with the Products resulting directly or indirectly from acts of any governmental authority, accidents and disruptions (including but not limited to fires, explosions, breakdowns of essential machinery or equipment and power shortages), transportation or storage delays, labor difficulties, or failure or delay in its usual source of supply. In addition to such causes, Light Polymers shall in no event be liable for delay or failure to perform resulting directly or indirectly from any cause which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of any delay or failure by Light Polymers to deliver all or any part of the Products in accordance with these Terms as a result of any of the aforesaid causes, the date of delivery for such delayed Products shall be extended for a period equal to the time lost by reason of the delay, as determined by Light Polymers. In the event of Product shortage, Light Polymers may allocate sales in its sole discretion.

These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings, written or oral, with respect to your purchase of the Products. Any additional, different or conflicting terms and conditions issued by you at any time are hereby objected to by, and not binding in any way on, Light Polymers. No waiver or amendment of any provision hereof shall bind Light Polymers unless made in a writing executed by an authorized representative of Light Polymers. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected or impaired.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of California and the applicable federal laws of the United States of America, without giving effect to conflict of laws provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located within the State of California for any disputes arising from or related to the these Terms.

You may not assign or transfer your rights hereunder without Light Polymers’ prior written consent.

Light Polymers reserves the right to make changes to these Terms from time to time, and any such changes will apply to your future purchases of Products.

General Returns Policy

Products shipped from Light Polymers can be returned within 30 days of the order date in most cases. Some Products have different policies or requirements associated with them as noted in the Returns table under the Returnable column when initiating a return.

Important: Return orders individually, using separate return label for each order. If you need to return multiple orders, please do not consolidate returns into a single shipping box.

Starting a Return

  1. Email, indicating a return type (refund, credit or replacement as applicable), reason for your return and your order details.
  2. Upon approval of your return, you will be e-mailed a Return Authorization number and a pre-paid return shipping label*, if applicable based on your return type.

*Only returns shipping from within the United States are eligible for pre-paid shipping.

Shipping Returned Product

  1. Print your Return Authorization e-mail and shipping label.
    (If you do not have access to a printer, you can request a physical shipping label be mailed to you by adding “Please mail physical label” in the Notes to your Return. The label will arrive in 3-5 days from approval of your return.)
  2. Insert Return Authorization e-mail into your shipping box.
  3. Prepare your package for return. Please use the original Crystallin® packaging your Product arrived in so as to protect them properly from shipping damage on the return trip. Remove old shipping label.
    (If you don’t have the original Product packaging, use a sturdy box and include padding such as bubble wrap or newspaper.)
  4. Tape pre-paid shipping label to outside of the box.
  5. Ship your Product by taking it to the closest shipping location.

Return/Refund Status

As returns progress through receipt and approval, you will be notified via e-mail of your return’s status.


If your order arrives with damaged or missing Products and you would like a replacement shipped to you, please initiate a return with the Damaged Product reason code and Light Polymers will ship you a replacement Product.

Light Polymers may determine a refund can be issued without requiring the product be returned. If you aren’t required to mail your product(s) back for a refund, you will be notified by a Customer Service Representative.

Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be processed for Products that are returned damaged, have missing parts, or are not in the original condition.
